About SoloCrit
SoloCrit is a single-player tabletop roleplaying platform powered by an AI Game Master. You create a character, pick a world — high fantasy, space opera, or neon cyberpunk — and the Game Master writes an original one-shot adventure around you, reacting to every choice you make. There is no module to read, no group to schedule, and no session that ends before the story does.
Every risky action is resolved the way it is at a real table: with dice. When the Game Master calls for a check, you roll a d20 — either with the animated virtual die or by typing the result of the physical die in your hand — and the narrative bends around the outcome. Successes feel earned, failures have real consequences, and your hit points, inventory, discovered map, and bestiary of creatures met all persist between sessions so you can put an adventure down and pick it back up later.
SoloCrit is for anyone who loves tabletop roleplaying but cannot always find a table: solo players, busy adults with unpredictable evenings, Game Masters who want to be a player for once, and newcomers who want to learn how dice-driven storytelling works without pressure from a group. It works on your phone as well as your desktop, so a session fits into a commute or a lunch break.
SoloCrit is built and maintained by a small independent team of tabletop players and software developers who wanted infinite adventures on demand. It runs on a simple $4.99/month subscription with a free 24-hour trial, cancellable at any time, and we ship improvements continuously based on player feedback in our community Discord.
